Cité de Carcassonne

Day 80, 24-9-22. Carcassonne
13km walked (or strolled)
I’ll do 3 posts of all the different stuff I saw. Post 3, People.
I went to the castle in the cité, before there were to many people.
Wrote some postcards, treated myself to some food, (with a 0.0 Leffe!), did some people watching, went to the supermarket and bought lots of food!
Finished the book! Landlines by Raynor Winn. Such an amazing writer, she manages to put into words what she experiences so well! And touches on all those things that made me do this walk too. Like climate and nature and the nature of people, that see themselves apart from nature.
It rained and my feet got wet in my bare feet shoes. But never mind.

Tomorrow I’ll hang out in my tent, write read, and sleep.
Met some lovely people again, so cool to be out here ❤️ Doing my thing, I might complain a little but really I’m very happy, happy to be this tired, happy to have muscles aching, so grateful to be taking life as it comes, it’s the best way to take care of myself!
Thanks for your concern though ❤️❤️❤️
