Day 241, 6-3-23, 7,4 km walked in Ouazzane.
Tomorrow marks the beginning of the 9th month!! My km walked has dropped a lot but It is what it is..
I tried to go to the post office before meeting Saeed who I met at the Taxi station but there was a forty number cue! So I just wandered around the medina and then Saeed showed me round in his lunch break, he works as a social assistant in a secondary school. A lovely young man, we had some beans and lentils in a local place. I sat there working on my new piece after he went back to work.
Decided to stay on a night and spend some time creating.
Worked a bit in my room too!
I got my hands hennaed by Fatima down the street, an older lady surrounded by chattering women of different ages, I paid her well, oh to be able to speak Arabic! I can count to 7 say thank you and Salam aleicum and that’s about it!
It’s so complicated!
I haven’t made up my mind about what is next.. I’ll pack, shower, and attempt post office again, and then I’ll go with the flow,
Maybe walk maybe not. all is good! Direction Meknes I think…
I would love to find a craft cooperative where I could spend some time learning basketry or something like that…
