Day 459, 9-10-‘23, 16,7 km walked from that field 4 km out side Pachino, through Pachino to Marzamemi and to San lorenzo campsite,
Today was: a slow start, talking to the pepper pickers in the field I slept in , choosing to not take the bike path along the tourist attractions, going through Pachino, an agricultural town with a lot of tractors.
A Crazy amount of kids going home after school on scooters.
No kids on bicycles (?!)
Big empty parking lots at the tourist beach town of Marzamemi.
Many breaks because hot! 30 degrees.
And a campsite! Washing clothes, a long shower, lovely food and fellow travelers

And tomorrow, (10-10) is my Birthday!
