Day 582, 8-2-24, 25 km walked from Tre Croce to Viterbo. It’s already February! The day are going so fast!
I really have to walk! If I want to get home iin August! Oh well I might do some train somewhere.
The first half of the day I walked the Via Francigene beautiful through the woods but such hard work with Arlette!
So I took a short cut after S Martino, (a lot of S mart people live here?)
a very old place with walls around it with a big church, very sober. From where I had a nice view over the plains.
Still working out where I will cross over to the other side of Italy, heading towards Siena first.
I arrived in Viterbo at 17.00 but before O found a place to sleep it was 18.30, with the Cappucino monks, really I needed a pelgrims pass which I don’t have…
They let me anyway, sadly the showers were cold…
I then went out to find a laundromat to get that dead animal smell out of my clothes! ( from the other day)
And had a simple olive pizza for dinner
