Day 596, 22-2-24, 14,7 km walked from near uopini to near Castellino scalo
I got going late because it was cold and couldn’t get up to speed, oh well no stress.. I dreamt of my papa, he was looking good ❤️. The track my gps was sending me on was rather tough and demanding so I changed but there still was a lot of dried ( with tractor tires) and not so dry mud, and then a river! Took of my shoes and socks and made my way across, carefully
I hadn’t had a coffee all day, when at sundown I spotted a restaurant, I waited for the kitchen to open with the plan to take the little path behind the restaurant to find a spot to camp. But one of the young team offered me a place to stay an apartment that he and his parents are restoring so I might stay there all day tomorrow too and offer my help, as there will be rain all day.
And hopefully I’ll have news of the next place I’m walking to (or not if I don’t get a reaction tomorrow)
