We walked to fixing where there was a ferry to take us across to Venice, it didn’t rain. It was a lovely day, with a lot of water in Venice.
The light was so beautiful
I lit a candle for my aunt Marita, she has left this earth earlier this week. A very lovely woman… 🕯️
So many tourists, seeing all those big names in fashion taking over town. Sad
Glass, Fashion, restaurants, (run by Chinese)…. I don’t envy people living there… it’s like a big amusement park.
I did meet a lovely woman that maybe can offer me time on a sewing machine, to be organised. 🥰🪡🧵
Valentina insisted on paying for food coffee and bus and boat! ❤️
She doesn’t speak English so I did a lot of talking in my pigeon Italian
At night we went to friends that had just come back from Nepal, I was very tired!
Lovely people too, nice food. Plus Colombo Di Pasqua (special Easter cake, and we found a vegan variety).
In bed late and when I woke at 6.15 it was already 7.15 and time to get ready to Modena!!! Crazy but I say yes to what comes along! Even if that means hours in the car 🚗….
