Day 649, 15-4-24. 22.4 km walked from Skopo to Dolenje after which I asked some men whether I could camp there and they warned me about strong winds and rain and then gave me a lift 4,5 km further towards the mountains near the 207 road near vipana. In a field now waiting for the rain.
I got up early packed everything up and was walking by 8.30 such a beautiful walk !
I saw many butterflies and flowers even a deer 🦌, there seem to be less cafes as in Italy where even the smallest place had one, a lot of wine makers though but they were all closed, Monday? Or just not the season? I found a coffee in a very chic place in a Borgo like village called Štanjel

Had some lunch on a bench where I’d left my Arlette ( what a joy that she’s fixed again!)
Later I stopped by a river throwing flat stones and dipping my feet.
But it’s the end of summer for the next few days, the temperatures are going down again…
Trying to get a place to stay in Ljubliana seems more difficult but I’ll succeed!
