Day 765, 9-8-24, 23,3km walked! From Germany through the Netherlands to BELGIUM! It is incredible it feels just wonderful!
Walking into the Netherlands was emotional, visited Sittard, it’s beautiful inner city and also the homeless shelter where I got invited for coffee!
I them walked all the way to the foot ferry at Grevenbicht but it stopped just before I arrived ( it was supposed to be open until 7 but stopped at 6😢)
So I walked the 5 km extra to the next one.
I found a place next to the bicycle path and I might stay all day if I don’t get send away.
It is hot, I realised I bought too much food! Haha going shopping hungry, and all the very German stuff I found and then a Dutch shop aaah I won’t go hungry!!
And I went really fast from Koln to here so I can take it easy for a few days! Nice
I keep posting this ⬇️ because I know not everybody reads me everyday!
I’ll be arriving on the Grand place, Brussels on 21 August at 14.14 and then we’ll walk the last km with all those there to welcome me home! And have a (vegan alcohol free) party at home
And a little stop at the Pianofabriek on the way.
