Day 766 & 767 10 & 11-8-24, 0 km & 19.1 km walked from the side of the Meuse/Maas to Opoeteren Camping Savelbos.
I had a lovely day not doing much (a little work, mostly just hanging out) followed by a day of walking visiting the Smokkelmarkt in Stokkem (smugglers market)
And then onto Dilsen, lunch at the Zuid-Willemsvaart!
It was hot so I took it easy, At the end of the day I found the campsite I’d been aiming for!
It is strange to be in a country where I can speak my own language!
Some ugly houses and funny letterboxes, and alcohol free Leffe!
I’m staying here till tomorrow that leaves me enough time to get back to Brussels without rushing!
Do some work, Wash some clothes, maybe fix Arlette… stay out of the sun!
(It will get hot today, 34 degrees)

I keep posting this ⬇️ because I know not everybody reads me everyday!
I’ll be arriving on the Grand place, Brussels on 21 August at 14.14 and then we’ll walk the last km with all those there to welcome me home! And have a (vegan alcohol free) party at home
And a little stop at the Pianofabriek on the way.
