Lautrec, Midi-Pyrenees, France

Day 74, 18 September
29km walked from just past Albi until Lautrec one of the prettiest villages of France
I followed the ‘chemin verte’ and it was very flat, so made some km
I left only at 10 cause my tent was still moist, I haven’t quite worked out what the sunniest spot will be in the morning, but that was fine. But tonight I’ll go to sleep earlier!
I met a very friendly man Julien and his autistic son Leo ( so much energy he really needed to walk fast!
Julien offered to push Arlette, and he did for at least 5km!! While we talked about all sorts of things, and Leo was far ahead.
My phone charged nicely on the solar panel because the sun shone hard, ( at least 25degrees)
I reached Lautrec by 18.00 and managed a coffee and a apple juice before setting up tent ( in the cemetery)
I missed the old tools market ( or I caught the tail)
Amazing views from the top of the village, amazing little streets and some lovely makers shops, but still no wooden spoon.
