Ragusa, Italy

Day 455, 5-10-23, 17 km walked, in Gela and Ragusa
I woke up of my neighbours alarmclock at 8, I slept well in the gigantic bed!
Walked to the archeological museum but it was closed, so decided to catch a train, only a few stops (+/- 60 km). It was a one carriage diesel train, it took one hour and 15 min and I went to Ragusa, (the 5th stop)
Ragusa Ibla is on the unesco list, because of it’s many baroque churches and buildings! Quite amazing, but I was glad it wasn’t high season!
I’m walking again though.
I’ve put up my tent near the train track a little bit out of Ragusa. I had to cross a little river, and it’s a bit cold now..
I heated some water for tea ate yesterdays pasta and I’m ready to go to sleep (after relocating a very big spider!)
I feel a little as if I cheated, which is silly, it’s my walk and I can do it as I please!
Such a charming old train too ❤️
