What a day what a day what a day! Amazing!! Day 17 of the Brussels walk from Anna’s atelier in Forest/Vorst to La Roseraie in Uccle/Ukkel not so many km walked and my Komoot stopped recording for a little bit so missed out about 2 km I think but hey that’s how it goes sometimes, I stopped about 500meters from there at a vegetable garden called TAF where Laurence cultivates Vegetables for a restaurant and a shop or 2 with the help of young people with learning challenges
I worked a little bit with the dandelion stems and with a water-soluble material, fun!
And made a little work, how it will be part of the big work I don’t know yet.
And then I got a call from someone from BRUZZ if I was willing to be interviewed for TV? Yesss!
A lovely young woman came out ti meet me and she filmed me and interviewed me in Dutch for local tv.
I had a great time and I didn’t do to badly I think. More tomorrow! (I’ll share a link)
I asked a few people about what they needed to feel at home, 2 Moroccan women said, Sun!
Three people. One question: What makes you feel at home in Brussels?
A cosmopolitan mix. Good neighbours. And one woman put it simply — even as a woman, you feel comfortable everywhere. Everyone is approachable. The city isn’t as aggressive or negative as people make it out to be.
Maybe Brussels is kinder than its reputation.
I had an alcohol free beer in L’amere a boire
And then parked Sybille at la roseraie
Just before they closed at 6
Asparagus with vegan cheessauce and potatoes for dinner mmmmm
Another brilliant day!
