Day 39 20/6

Day 39, 20/6
FĂȘte de la Musique
I picked up my Sybille at 12.30 at the youth hostel next to the park where I had left her, in a space called Rome (right across from a space called Brussels! Much quicker way to get from Brussels to Rome than what I did 😄)
I sat in the shade working out my route, then left for Rue Manchester where there was a flea market and music, a mix between fanfare and gnawa, a beautiful Molenbeek mix. I worked and enjoyed just being there.
Asked my question: what do you need to feel at home? And collected some more words for my final artwork (so curious how that is going to work out!)
Went to the next place but it didn’t really feel like a match to get everything out, so I just had some water and walked on to the third place where I was expected. On the way I came across a great place with a lot of creativity going on, might go back next week.
To get to Lion City I had to cross a passerelle over the train rails, quite steep, but there were escalators so I took the risk. Of course there wasn’t an escalator down on the other side!!!
I had to take the stairs
a friendly Moroccan man helped me down, thank heavens for that man ❀
When I got there I was really too tired, with the heat, so I promised to come back soon, and went home
Where there was a lot of cooking and preparing for Vincent’s 60th birthday party today!
