Day 49 of my Brussels walk, 11-7-‘26
Only a short one 2,6 km (7,5km total)
To get back to Montgomery though was a big adventure! Changing metro’s the wrong way, non functional lifts and non functional gates, but I got there in the end!
I met some great characters in the metro! A man with two teenagers going through some martial arts sequence, a man with a apple press, beggars and tourists.
So when I got there I sat down to have a sandwich and soon after I found a spot under a tree where I sat and worked. I let my hands and the materials guide me.
I continued through to Inez, visited a church
And then was immersed in Inez’ world.
She is an amazing woman, who’s passion is stories. We talked for hours, she showed me her story room and read me some beautiful stories
she invited me to stay the night and I slept outside!
In the morning I made her a little work as a thank you.
