So the day after I came back from Rotterdam, I was going to go out and walk, but I didn’t feel it, so I stayed. I procrastinated, then finally got into some kind of action. And then my cupboard — one of my cupboards full of textiles and fabrics — fell over. Had I not been home, we wouldn’t have been able to enter the main part of our house, since we enter via the kitchen, via my workspace. So it was good I was home. And I accepted that I wasn’t going to force myself to do anything I wasn’t feeling. So I didn’t. But I did get some stuff done — it just came as it came. I tested the printing I’m doing tomorrow with the people of De Loods in Molenbeek, and I’m excited about that. I made some paper, I don’t quite know what or how. I made some small works to maybe sell on the road for a free price. And I did a lot of tarot readings, trying to figure out where I need to put my energy to do what I want to do. Am I enjoying myself?

It’s been nice to be home for a whole week with Vincent, and I even got some gardening done. God, this adulting — I’m nearly getting it. I’ll be 60 next year. Ha!
