Day 19 & 20 — the full spectrum.

Day 19 (1 May): I arrived at the place I left Sybille to pick her up, sat inside, and felt the pressure building — must perform, must keep going, must. The morning slipped away. I decided to leave the cart and join the fleamarket instead. The atmosphere wasn’t right for my kind of work anyway. I went home. No post, no output. And that was fine.

That evening I appeared on local TV, which was lovely. ✨

Day 20 (2 May): what a contrast. I picked up Sybille, found a walking path,  — it was a Saturday with gorgeous weather, so cyclists everywhere: older men in lycra, families, all kinds. I stopped, set up the machine, and let things happen.

People came. Curious, warm, wonderful. A woman told me she’d changed her name three years ago because it simply fit her better. The words that came up in response to my question: nature, connection, interplay.

Later, sitting on a bench, someone cycled back to find me — Annemarie, who recognised me from television. “Do you have plans for this evening? We live nearby.” We exchanged numbers.

I worked for two more hours in a little playground. Children pulled pins from my pincushion and pushed them back in. A six-year-old kept sprinting past: “Watch me, I’m going really fast!” — and all he needed was for me to say: “Wow.”

Being seen. That’s what this is about.

New followers on Instagram and Facebook. Flyers given out. ~5 km walked (nearly 10 on my personal counter — but I live far from the route now).

The lesson from these two days: lean in. Make the work. Be present. Let it happen. 🔴🧵
